Many of you may not know how I have struggled for the past few years with my mental health. The death of my beloved father figure sent me spiraling. It’s been very hard to find my way back. The healthcare where I live is subpar and there certainly are no mental health providers, so this was a challenge that I had to navigate on my own. It took some time before I even considered helping myself herbally, but I did get there eventually. I have an herbal protocol that has turned things around for me, and one of the things I want to share is the herbal based supplement; CalmAid. This little gem is powered by a special kind of lavender called Silexan, an essential oil derived from Lavandula angustifolia, which is not your average lavender!

What I love about CalmAid is how it simplifies managing my stress and anxiety. I feel more at ease without any of the sluggishness that other anxiety remedies can cause. For someone who’s always juggling multiple projects, I appreciate that I can stay alert and focused without that feeling of being overwhelmed which leads to a panic attack.

The real kicker for me, though, is the solid science behind CalmAid. The lavender oil used has been clinically studied and shown to significantly reduce anxiety levels. It’s comforting to know that what I’m taking is backed by research—you can actually read about these studies in a report published in the “Phytomedicine” journal. Here’s the link to dive into the details of the double-blind study: Clinical pharmacology and psychotherapy.

I have a close friend whose psychiatrist recommended it as an alternative to taking Xanax, Ativan, or other anxiety meds due to their addictive nature. It’s a straightforward, effective way to keep my stress in check, naturally. If you’re looking for a gentle, herbal approach to managing everyday anxiety, I’d definitely recommend giving CalmAid a try!
